The iTunes version is just the movie but the DVD contains the movie as well as a directors commentary by Don Lewis and John Beck. Many insights into the creative process are contained therein…or something. There’s also several outtakes from the film as well as a special short film where Winston, one of the dogs featured in our film, gets a wheelchair provided by a local vet who saw our film and noticed Winston was having trouble getting around. We also threw in one of our earlier documentary shorts called “Drag King” which is about an off-the-wall demolition derby where people smash boats that are dragged behind cars. You have to see it to believe it!
Thanks to all who have been with us from the start. It’s incredibly hard to get film distribution and without the support of all of you coming to the screenings and talking about the film, it absolutely would not have happened. So, thanks. Now go buy the film!!!

Worst In Show captures some of the personalities that work the ugly dog contest circuit with the same determination of stage mothers who devote their lives to pushing their daughters to participate in child beauty pageants.

You’ve seen Best In Show, so you pretty much know the turf battles and growling that can occur en route to dog show trophies. Among owners, that is — the dogs always seem stoked to be there even if some are a wee bit trembly.

“It’s about the people and controversial attraction that made it happen in the past and today. If you’ve heard of the World’s Ugliest Dog Contest, you likely want to know more about it, and “Worst in Show” delivers on both informativeness, including critical judgment against its allegedly cruel cause, and character.”
